Kinsey Designs is a living dream revived — a tribute to the creative spirit, family support, and courage to pursue a true passion. Growing up in the historic town of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Ali Kinsey found a world of wonder in her grandmother's antique jewelry store. Encouraged by her grandmother's vivacious spirit, Ali penned her dreams onto the pages of her sketchbook at 12 years old, planting the seeds of a jewelry company.

During her formative years, Ali was exposed to centuries-old baubles, etching future designs in the creative corners of her mind. However, life steered her away from the creative pulse. While attending college, she was offered a job opportunity at a big-box retailer that promised stability and success. Ali had to choose between the bustling world of corporate success or the unexplored trail of her passion. In the stillness of her contemplation, her past sketches lay untouched, capturing the echo of her elusive dreams. Ali took a courageous step by following her heart's desire to fulfill her true calling.

The passion for jewelry-making inspired her to start her brand. Procuring agate from local rock shops in Hot Springs, Arkansas, she created stunning pieces by combining this natural medium with remnants of her grandmother's collection. Initially, she sold her unique creations directly to boutiques, traveling and cold-calling to gain exposure.

The business gained momentum, yet life had a different blueprint in mind. Ali encountered a major shift after her husband's Air Force career moved them away from her family and hometown. Introduced to a new environment filled with unique prospects, she forged an entire network from scratch. Her husband was honorably discharged six years later, creating endless what-ifs that marked the birth of an exciting chapter for Kinsey Designs. She transformed her venture into a woman-owned family enterprise, welcoming her husband on board. What began as a small, handcrafted business evolved into a thriving endeavor of design and production. Her creations have found permanent residence in showrooms across the nation in Dallas, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. Kinsey Designs has made its mark by selling in 500+ independent boutiques, a testament to the business's growth and success. 

Kinsey Designs operates today on the same grounds that once housed her grandmother's antique jewelry store. Ali lives in Hot Springs with her husband, Jared, and daughter, Quinn. Even though Kinsey is known for staying on trend, each seasonal collection hints at a vintage flair as an ode to her grandmother and the legacy that started it all.
